8 Weeks and Counting! AHH



Today, I am 31 weeks!  Every day and every week gets more exciting and more nerve racking at the same time.  I cannot wait to meet my precious boy, but I also feel like I could use a little more time to prepare.  We had our last ultrasound on Tuesday and once again the little toot was uncooperative!!  I keep saying that scares me because it seemslike he is acting an awful lot like his father!!! The ultrasound tech. kept trying to get a 4-D picture of his cute little face and he was just not having it!  He had his "chubby," as the tech. called it, arm up next to his face!!! Finally, he put it down for one picture! The tech. told us that he weighs 4lbs!!

This week,  my bedding was finished and I got to go pick it up on Monday!!  I was so excited to see how it had turned out and could not wait to get it home and put it on the crib! Little did I know a massive dirt storm was going to trap me in Lubbock.  I literally had to pull over and wait until I could see the road to drive home. I also called Tyler crying and upset because I was stuck in the "haboob" all alone.  I hardly ever go anywhere by myself because I just don't like to do things by myself and Monday I was not a happy camper when I got trapped!! Growing UP and Growing Out!

This past week has been one of the craziest weeks of my life!  I am not going to go into details about the crazy, but if you know my family you know what has been going on.  Needless to say, I have been very neglectful of the blog. 

Besides the craziness that occurred, last Friday was homecoming.  Linzi finally worked up the courage and asked my dad if she could go with her "boyfriend."  I use that term very loosely because they are 12!! The gist of their relationship is texting and awkwardly avoiding each other in the hall! LOL Anyways, my dad said yes and Linzi had a date!  His name is Adam West! BATMAN!  He seems very nice but it seems too crazy to me that Linzi is at the age where she has a boyfriend!!!  Here are a few pictures from the night!

A couple of weeks ago, I went to the doctor.  When I was there, she scheduled to induce me on December 19!  Tyler just wanted Rhett to come when he comes but I definitely felt a little less overwhelmed when I knew an actual date!  I am so excited for him to get here and I cannot wait to hold my precious boy!!! Today I am exactly 29 weeks!!  Only about 10 weeks and Rhett will be here!!! YAY!!!
